Celebrate the little gold sonar disk that forever changed the focus of photography with the SX-70 Sonar Autofocus "24K Gold Edition," a limited release of only 99 fully-refurbished instant film cameras plated in 24K gold. Each camera is built using original components from vintage Polaroid SX-70 Sonar Autofocus instant film cameras that have been completely deconstructed and restored.

The cameras have been reassembled with these freshly refurbished internals and finished with the application of new, genuine black leather coverings embossed with the individual unit number. After being calibrated to ensure their functionality for another lifetime of use, they are encased in special gold-edition packaging.

Refurbished and Restored by Retrospekt

Because these cameras use genuine, vintage parts that are up to 50 years old, there will be signs of wear visible beneath the gold plating. Gold plating is considered to be a "living finish" which means it is subject to the effects of weather, moisture, air and natural oils from the skin causing it to change in appearance. Over time, the finish can oxidize and develop a patina. To decrease these effects, take special care in cleaning and handling your camera. Do not use cleaners that are designed for other metals. The best way to polish the camera is to use a soft cloth and no moisture.

Items can be returned within 14 days of receiving your package (as confirmed by tracking). If you wish to make a return, you must contact us within this 14 day window. All returns must be authorized by our customer service team before they are sent back. All returns must be shipped back within 14 days of receiving authorization from Retrospekt.

All items must be in new or unused condition, with original packaging and all parts and components intact and included. Opened items returned in less-than-resellable condition will be subject to an increased restocking fee.

Once removed from their original packaging, we cannot accept returns of Koss headphones.

Any functional and/or cosmetic defects should be addressed within 14 days of receiving your package. Please include as much information as possible about the nature of your problem. Our customer service team may ask you for more information about the nature of your issue in an attempt to troubleshoot and/or provide you with a successful resolution.

Buyers are responsible for providing accurate and deliverable shipping addresses. If the product is returned to sender due to an undeliverable address, they may request a reshipment free of charge to a corrected address (one time per customer) or a refund for the order. Refunds will be issued once Retrospekt has received the returned merchandise, buyer will not be refunded for shipping, re-stocking fees may apply. Retrospekt is not responsible for packages after the tracking information provided by the shipping carrier indicates they have been delivered to the shipping address provided by the buyer at time of purchase. This includes issues after delivery such as theft of unattended packages, damage, etc.
