Everything we had seen was angular so we aimed to create something new. We wiggled our pen, in an attempt to undo the rigid lines, and fell in love with the resulting shape. Wrapped around a stack of books, these pieces appear as clouds. Individually each piece acts as a little sculpture.
Using Nero marble, these bookends are fabricated by hand. Each curve is grinded down meticulously and finished in a rough honed texture. They are made sustainably utilizing marble offcuts.
