What is your return policy?
Our Online Return Policy: Return any unused or defective merchandise at one of our Canada or US store locations or by mail. Returns made within 30 days of the order shipment date will be refunded to the original form of payment. Returns made after 30 days of the order shipment date will be refunded via an emailed e-merchandise credit. Please note, some items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes sale items purchased at an additional sale-on-sale discount.
How do I return or exchange my order?
Return Instructions
1. Click here to return your order with a pre-paid shipping label.
2. Include the packing list from the original order and place it in a securely sealed shipping container.
3. Make sure any old labels on your package are removed or obscured and affix your pre-paid shipping label.
4. Drop your package in the mailbox or at a Canada Post location. There is no postage required, but a return fee of CA$5.00 will be deducted from your refund.
We will email you when your return is processed.
Please note, you may also return your merchandise to any store located in the US or Canada.
Please note, return delivery fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Can I change my order?
We start working on your order as soon as we get it, so we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been placed and confirmed. However, there is a short window of time in which you can cancel your order. Visit our Cancellation Policy page for more info.
What payment methods do you accept?
UrbanOutfitters.com accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, China Union Pay, Dinners Club, PayPal*, Urban Outfitters Gift Cards and Urban Outfitters Store Merchandise Gift Cards.
*Please note, PayPal is unavailable to customers in Turkey.
Why is my item on backorder?
Occasionally, an item for sale on UrbanOutfitters.com has not yet been received at our distribution center or is so popular that it must be restocked. You may order a backordered item to reserve your favorite color and size, but it will not be shipped to you until it is in stock. The expected ship date will be listed when you add an item to your Shopping Bag.
Please note: Backorder shipping dates are subject to change in rare instances. We will email you with any date changes.
What is California Proposition 65?
Some of our products may be made of materials containing chemicals identified on California Proposition 65. In accordance with California Proposition 65, we issue the following warning to our California customers: These products may contain one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
