How do I track my order?
To track your order, please click here and enter your order number and billing zip code. You will then be able to view all of your order and shipping details.
What is the status of my order?
Once an order is placed, you will receive an order number and a confirmation email with your order summary. Click here to check the status of your order. If you are a registered user, simply log in to your account. Guest users can enter their order number and billing zip code in the designated fields.
Can I change an order after it has been placed?
We start working on your order as soon as it is placed, so we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been placed and confirmed.
I purchased an item on backorder – what now?
Occasionally, an item for sale on UrbanOufitters.com has not yet been received at our distribution center or is so popular that it must be restocked. You may order a backordered item to reserve your favorite color and size, but it will not be shipped to you until it is in stock. The expected ship date will be listed when you add an item to your Shopping Bag. Please note: Backorder shipping dates are subject to change in rare instances. We will email you with any date changes.
Payments
What payment methods does Urban Outfitters accept?
UrbanOutfitters.com accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, China Union Pay, Dinners Club, PayPal*, Afterpay, Urban Outfitters Gift Cards and Urban Outfitters Store Merchandise Gift Cards.
If your payment method was declined, you may have entered your information incorrectly or there may be other issues with the card such as a passed expiration date or insufficient funds. Please try a new payment method and contact your financial institution for more information regarding the decline or if you continue to experience difficulties with your payment.
*Please note, PayPal is unavailable to customers in Turkey.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Tax charges are based on applicable federal, provincial and harmonized sales tax rates based on the delivery address of your order. Sales tax will also be applied to the shipping and handling charges where required. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the tax you paid for that item. You will not receive a refund for the sales tax you paid on the shipping and handling of that item, as the shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable once an item has been shipped.
When will I be charged?
You will be charged when your order, or a portion of your order, has shipped. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped, along with applicable shipping and tax rates.
Where can I use my gift card?
Your UO gift card may be used or applied to any purchase at any US Urban Outfitters location or online at www.urbanoutfitters.com. It can be reloaded and is reusable. This card may not be exchanged for cash, unless required by law or when the remaining balance is below $10 and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Your card balance may be obtained at any Urban Outfitters location, online at www.urbanoutfitters.com or by calling 1-800-920-5656 and is not valid if purchased from a 3rd party site or location.
Why doesn't my gift card work as a form of payment?
Unfortunately, some of our older gift cards cannot be used online. These gift cards can be used at our US stores or used to place an order by phone by calling (800) 282-2200.
